I first met Anya through Ridgefield Theater Barn in Ridgefield, CT, as she directed a wide range of children in musical theater activities as well as Glee club. Anya immediately impressed me with her approach to working with children of varying ages and her ability to bring out their best vocal capabilities. Hope all is well! Shane wanted to share with you that he he won first place at his musical theater competition this past weekend for his solo. They also gave him a special award, they said they had never given before, that he was even more proud of for best vocal technique.  He said he owes that in part to you. He credits a lot to you teaching him early on how to use his voice properly.  He's working with a vocal teacher now that he says is a lot like you and that's how he knows she's good.
